Thank you for the follow-up letter concerning my recent purchase of an Automobile from Cutter Ford Aiea.
I want to take this time to thank a few of the Cutter staff for making my purchase as pain free as possible, something very rare these days. First off I would like to thank Rodney for his help in getting the ball rolling, making me feel comfortable an for paying attention to my budget constraints. Next is James who along with Rodney agreed with the offer I proposed, O.K.ing the new price over the phone in about ten minutes.
I would like to take the time to tell you folks how valuable the Cutter website was for me during my search for a good Focus Wagon. I live on Maui so I wanted to see if I could do some research island-wide for my Ford as Maui had, for me, nothing. When the Cutter web site came up I was looking at a beautiful, clean Focus Wagon, with multiple photographs that showed me everything about the car, a 2001 Focus Wagon with only 58,000 miles, I was sold.
I flew in to Honolulu two days later and I was picked up at the Airport and driven to Cutter Ford in Aiea where in a couple of whirlwind hours I was being driven back to the Airport, the proud owner of a Ford wagon. Picking a person up at the Airport is very savvy marketing, as it allows the perspective buyer to be comfortable with the Salesman and vice-versa.
I am sure all of Cutter Fords salesmen are good and Jerry Fugimoto proved to be no exception. This guy is a class act and I hope Cutter Ford realizes this gentleman's commitment to his company. Jerry answered all my questions, explained when I did not understand and did his best to make sure everything went smoothly, which it did. After a few minutes with the gentleman in finance,(who knows his stuff) we were off to the Airport, unreal. You have some great guys working with you Stanford.

I just wanted to take a short minute to share with you my experience at Cutter Ford Aiea Service Department:
Since I bought my car 5 months ago, I have had regular service done on it and have all the receipts to show for it. But in any case, it was still running rough. So, I brought my car in to your service department to have a diagnostic done. Unfortunately, my engine block is either cracked or my heads are blown. Obviously, those are both very bad situations especially since I only bought it 5 months ago. Needless to say, I am quite irritated, I feel "taken advantage of", and I'm still without transportation. You see, even though I signed for extended warranty and have the papers to prove it, they said I don't have coverage. Therefore, the job that would have been practically "fixed" is now a $7,000 - $8,000 job. So, there my car sits on the side of the road by my house ... doing absolutely nothing but collecting dust since I really don't have that kind of money lying around.
Well, I've shared that story with you to simply tell you that through this whole ordeal I would like to applaud Kellie Walroth for all she has done. She has been a true blue professional from the start. She has followed up with me each time and has kept me updated on how my car was doing. She was also very compassionate knowing my situation and that made me feel very comfortable. I felt like I was in very good and capable hands, very secure. That was very important to me. I didn't ever feel like I was having "the wool pulled over my eyes", me being a "girl" and all. That seems to happen to me lots when I'm at the mechanic shop or places like that.
So, I have sent Kellie a copy of this email as well and I really want to thank you for having such a professional and compassionate staff, especially here in the service center. Everyone through to the cashier was very pleasant ... thank you. I applaud you all!!!

I would like to express my appreciation for the diligent efforts of Cutter Ford service writers Kellie Walroth and Jeff Huang. I had a list of items that were in need of repair on my 2009 Ford Flex. Although it required multiple trips to the dealership and a bit of exasperation on both sides of the equation, I can say that I am well pleased with the outcome. Cutter Ford did not give up despite my impatient and at times demanding personality. Kellie, Jeff, and Kale are to be commended for their professionalism and persistence. My first Ford product was a 1969 Mercury Montego and I have owned many Ford products since then. As an owner and Ford shareholder, I am proud of the way Cutter treats their customers and hope there is an internal mechanism to reward the outstanding behavior of these employees.
I hope this finds you well. I wanted to write with some feedback about my experience with Cutter Ford. I recently special ordered and purchased a 2013 Titanium Focus Hatchback from Cutter Ford ‘Aiea. My car search began over a year ago and I stopped by Cutter Ford and met Obren Vranesevic who continued to follow up with me over the course of the year. Phone calls were always professional and courteous. I live and work near town so other dealerships were more convenient; however, because of the professional and consistent communication from Obren I brought my business to you all.
During the process of ordering a car, Obren was helpful even when he had a sales associate step in. The arrival of my car was delayed due to a strike on the West Coast and I was without a vehicle as I had already sold my car. It was Obren’s proactive communication and help in securing a decent rental car rate that made this delay minimally frustrating. I felt confident that what was within the control of Cutter Ford was being taken care of.
I want to thank you and Obren for a professional and service oriented experience and let you know that I will in good confidence recommend your dealership.
I just wanted you to know that I still love my Ford Focus! Most weeks I average between 33-34MPG even though I have to drive over H3 and am stuck in Tripler traffic daily. It's reliable and spacious enough for me and 4 other family members when they came to visit last month and my large dogs can lie down comfortably in the back seat. My interactions with your service department have always been pleasant and nonpainful.
I'm very happy I chose Cutter Ford to solve my vehicle needs last year.
